A scrappy-mess.. no more ツ

Hello world, hope your Saturday was wonderful.. How was mine you ask? Well..

I didn't have time to craft "Booooo" wasn't a happy camper that's for sure, but I needed to get my little corner in order before I could master a few scrappy things

See, I "use" to have my own crafting room up until a year ago when it was decluttered, repainted & converted into a nursery room instead oh {happy happy joy joy}. So then my lovely husband bought me a little white crafting table from Michaels & moved me in to a little corner in the dining room, however that was short lived once he saw how MUCH more space I needed to craft I mean I was ALL over the dining room LOL. So we rearranged our family room & positioned myself towards another tiny space with no shelves, no room for wiggle.. and of course did I mention out in the OPEN? oh yes, so needles to say it has to be tidy & well organized.
I have to admit, as of lately I have not been the most organized person .. so much so, I was losing countless time trying to "think" thru the mess. I decided to have my very own intervention - craftyvention! LOL
How messy was this tiny little space you ask? well.. {don't judge - I wanna see your space} LOL

this is my little scrap of heaven.. or lack there of!

ok ok.. I know "WOWZER" but truth be told, it didn't look so bad I kept piling everything on the desk from ea space I worked on AROUND the house.
after 2 hours in to cleaning this is how it looked..{below}

I was finally able to see the cutting mat LOL

I so need a better way of organizing, any suggestions for someone with limited space?

Whaaalaaa! yup nice & tidy again.

After 4 1/2 hrs I def earned a foot massage & a glass of wine. Too bad I got neither :( but at least my area is clean again heehee.

Thank you for reading my daily blog, I try to bring humor .. hope you enjoyed & please leave comments or suggestions as to how or what I can do to organize myself more in this tiny spot.

Hugs

  1. Hey Chica, Can you pull that table forward & maybe put some of those white cube organizers against the wall. Then you could get the fabric drawers. Also containers for under the table. You can hide w/ a table skirt. I hope i helped a little. Love you chica, Lynn

    1. Thanks for the suggestions.. yes I do have clear 3 tier bins right against the right corner of the table (didn't show it) . I think adding those boxes under the table is a great idea. I already have two, but the dwn fall is that the baby crawls under & gets ahold of everything :( I just might consider a table skirt. Thanks Hun!

  4. I can totally empathize with you because I, too, craft in a tiny corner only it's in my bedroom. It takes me forever to think about & sort through my boxes of supplies so that I can figure out what will work with that particular project I happen to be working on. Great job with your blog! Hugs!
